A man in his mid-60s has died following a road traffic collision involving a car and a bus on the N25 at Kinsalebeg, County Waterford, on Sunday evening. Emergency services and Gardaí were called to the scene shortly before 8:00 pm on the route connecting Youghal and Dungarvan.

The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardaí confirmed that passengers travelling on the bus were medically assessed at the location, with no serious injuries reported.

The section of the N25 was closed to facilitate a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, but the road has since fully reopened. The local coroner has been notified, and a post-mortem examination is due to be arranged.

An Garda Síochána has appealed for any witnesses to the incident to contact investigators. In particular, officers have requested that road users who were travelling on the N25 between Grange and Pilltown Cross between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm on Sunday night, especially those with camera or dash-cam footage, make it available.
