How Echo Irish works

Echo Irish uses AI assistance to discover and research potentially newsworthy Irish developments. It does not publish on a quota: a scan may produce no articles.

Candidates are checked for sourcing, confidence, sensitivity and overlap with recent coverage. Published reports synthesise multiple sources in original wording, and those sources appear on each article. Sensitive claims face a higher confidence threshold.

Images are only attached when explicit reuse terms are found, currently through Wikimedia Commons. Licence and attribution data are retained. Administrators can edit, unpublish and audit every discovery decision.
